St. Patrick’s Day is a pretty big deal here in Chicago. The river is dyed an incredible shade of green, bars serve green beer, and there’s corned beef and cabbage everywhere. But St. Pat’s as a twentysomething bachelorette is a lot different from St. Pat’s as a fortysomething mom. I definitely needed some inspiration this year, so here are a few projects I’m mulling over. Let me know if you have any suggestions!

Mosaic Paper Shamrocks from Happiness is Homemade
This is so cute, and I love crafts that incorporate scraps!

Watercolor Shamrock Cards from Hello Wonderful
Definitely need to do this for the grandmas. And if I can’t find the paints, we can always clip green hearts from other materials!

Button Rainbow from Funky Polkadot Giraffe
You can glue real buttons onto this adorable free printable, or just wing it yourself!

St. Patrick’s Day Gumball Bracelet from Lolly Jane
I love these so much, and Mackenzie is super into gumballs lately!

Free Lucky Penny Printable from See Vanessa Craft
Great idea, great design, and free! We’ll definitely have to do this for Mackenzie’s classmates, and maybe for my own colleagues.

Distracted, working mom seeking short escapes from a hectic life via quick crafts and fast food. Sure, she could meditate, after she cleans the house. Hahaha...no.
